COURSES FOR CATEGORY "B" AND CATEGORY "B (78)" – AUTOMATIC

THIS CATEGORY ALLOWS YOU TO DRIVE:

• passenger cars

• buses up to nine seats

• trucks up to 3.5 tons

• trailers up to 750 kg attached to the above vehicles

• mopeds

AGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicants must be 17 years and 9 months of age to sign up the course.

• Applicants must be at least 17 years and 11 months of age to sign up for a theory exam.

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to sign up for a practical exam.

MODULES AND DURATION:

The training includes two modules:

1. Theoretical training

Theory will be conducted in person in English.

2. Practical training

31 study hours (one lesson equals 2 study hours).

The program also includes special exercises, such as extra-urban driving and night driving.

New course starts every even week of the year.

Driving lessons begin and end at the training center.

The training program lasts approximately two months.

Note: If the theory exam is not successfully passed within 30 days of starting the training, the completion deadline will be extended.

First installment: BGN 900.

Examination fees are NOT included in tuition fee.

• Theory Exam: Fee + voucher = BGN 90

• Practical Exam: Fee + voucher = BGN 100

*Additional practical training, if required:

One lesson (2 study hours): BGN 110

**For candidates from other training centers or individuals with a driving license wishing to continue training:

One lesson (2 study hours): BGN 120

***Prepaid package for 10 study hours (5 lessons): BGN 550

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

• ID card (for foreigners: a valid residence address in Bulgaria for at least 180 days).

• One passport-sized photo.

• Medical certificate for category "B," issued by a general practitioner (valid for six months).

• Legalized translation of a foreign education diploma (at least primary education) or a document certifying completion of 10th grade.

• This document must be submitted for recognition by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria after successfully passing the practical exam to obtain a driving license.

• Certificate for completing a first aid course (required for submitting documents to the Road Transport Control Authority, KAT).
